Works are progressing on our project at Fullarton Street, Irvine.
The scope of work consists of the soft strip, mechanical demolition and site clearance of 5 Nr 14 storey residential tower blocks, lock-ups and concierge station.
Following the soft strip of each block, our Ultra-High Reach and High Reach Demolition Excavators will carefully demolish the structures down to approximately level 5 then our Standard Reach Excavators will take over, allowing the high reach machines to progress on to the next blocks.
To achieve the successful and timely internal clearance of the blocks, we are utilising our Crawler Crane and a suspended skip to facilitate the safe removal of materials from the upper floors as shown in the photos.
As part of our commitment to adding value to the local community, Dem-Master have employed local labour to work on the project and have also been working closely with the neighbouring Loudoun Montgomery Primary School. To date, we have made a donation towards a new project in the school grounds and have delivered a Health & Safety Presentation to raise awareness about the importance of safety precautions around our demolition site. The pupils were also delighted to each receive a Hi-Viz vest which will be used on various school outings.
