The greatest risks when working on live process sites or decommissioned facilities that have been closed for years is the unknown hazards and risks that remain.  Unexpected hazards or risks that appear half way through a project can have huge implications of costs and programme but most of all safety.

Dem-Master have developed a process, working with our clients to understand the risks and hazards of a facility from during the planning phase, highlighting and recording the known hazards and areas where potential hazards may exist. Following the design phase, we are able to then put in place mitigation measures.

Dem-Master aim to ensure surrounding community members are informed of any aspects of our projects before and during the works. We have an appointed community liaison officer who will issue newsletters with project details, traffic restrictions and any other relevant information. We have also opened up ‘customer care centres’ on our sites which are surrounded by residential areas in order for members of the community to drop in and ask any questions relating to the works.
