Inverurie Papermill

Dem-Master were responsible for the phased Demolition of various buildings within this extensive industrial site at the former Inverurie Papermill, Kirkwood Commercial Park, Aberdeenshire.

The works included:

  • Asbestos surveys & Removal
  • Demolition Operation (Hand & Machine)
  • Processing of Arisings
  • Crushing
  • Backfill & Grade
  • Removal of Materials

Project Constraints and Solutions

Due to the complexity of this project and the different building structures we had to apply various different techniques to achieve the safe and required results.

In order for the machine works to be carried out with no damage to adjoining buildings, hand separation was required in various locations at the former Mill.
